ConSanGallo

The OSCE Conference on Combating Antisemitism was held in St. Gallen on February 9 and 10, marking the first high-level event in the Swiss Chairmanship of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE). The Italian participants included the National Coordinator for Combating Antisemitism, General Pasquale Angelosanto, and the Permanent Representative to the OSCE, Ambassador Andrea Cascone.

The event was organized in collaboration with the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) with the aim of revitalizing the collective commitment of participating States to combating antisemitism.

The conference provided a comprehensive discussion of current trends, including in light of data shared by ODIHR and the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights, focusing on good practices in education and the role of sport as a vehicle for promoting tolerance and non-discrimination.
