Italy and OSCE

The Permanent Mission to the OSCE is responsible for relations with the Vienna-based Organization, representing Italy’s position in meetings and negotiations and ensuring Italian participation in the many activities of the Organization.

Italy held the Presidency of the OSCE in 2018 and is one of the 57 participating States of the Organization. It is a strong supporter both in political terms (in close coordination with the European Union and NATO partners) and in terms of resources.
