Deputy Minister Della Vedova attends High-level inauguration meeting of the Renewed OSCE European Security Dialogue

The Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. Benedetto Della Vedova, attended the High-level inauguration meeting of the Renewed OSCE Security Dialogue and expressed support for the initiative of the Polish Chairpersonship in office.

“The OSCE stands out as a unique forum – Undersecretary of State Della Vedova said – to address and discuss the deterioration and current tensions in the security situation in our region, as it is the most comprehensive and inclusive regional security organization in the Euro-Atlantic and Eurasian area.” He added: “The proposal for a Renewed OSCE European Security Dialogue provides for a precious opportunity, one we should not miss, to recommit ourselves once again to the vision of a free, democratic, common and indivisible Euro-Atlantic and Eurasian security community, which is based upon and takes inspiration from our common adherence to all OSCE norms, principles and commitments that, starting from the Helsinki Final Act and subsequent Charter of Paris for a New
Europe, have been adopted by the Participating States.”
