Particular attention was devoted to integrating scientific and technological expertise into decision-making and to the impact of new technologies in areas including water, energy and economic good governance.<\/p>\n<p>Hosted at the Czernin Palace, the Forum was opened by the OSCE Chairman-in-Office and Swiss Federal Councillor Ignazio Cassis and by Czech Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Petr Macinka. OSCE Secretary General Feridun H.
